We’ve come together in one place and it’s a place like no other to bring you the right professionals who can offer you guidance, teach you the tools & support you every step of the way.

Mindfulness is the psychological process of bringing one’s attention to experiences occurring in the present moment, which can be developed through the practice of meditation and other training. One Hour For Me offers a range of mindfulness classes and workshops.

Mindfulness for anxious Children, Teens & Young Adults

Mindfulness meditation & relaxation courses introduce the basic elements of mindfulness practice. It is about developing a practice to be present and be connected to ourselves.

Here clinical psychologists with facilitate weekly sessions dedicated to supporting our young people in group Mindfulness sessions which offer tools and guidance through practice for managing anxiety and stress in our daily life.

4-week hourly sessions will be run to the following groups from March & April 2018

  • Mindfulness for anxious kids 7-9yrs
  • Mindfulness for anxious tweens 10-13yrs
  • Mindfulness for anxious teens 14yrs to 16yrs
  • Mindfulness for anxious young adults 17yrs to 24yrs

Mindfulness for Parents of anxious kids, teens & young adults

Here clinical psychologists will lead weekly sessions to offer dedicated support in the area of parenting our children suffering from anxiety through guided practice, knowledge transfer, support tools and resilience offering much needed skills in the area of supporting our children through moments of anxiety and stress.

4-week hourly sessions will be run to the following groups from March & April 2018

  • Mindful Parenting of anxious kids & Teens
  • Mindful Parenting of anxious young adults
  • Resilience coaching for Parents

Mindfulness for Professionals

This series of world renowned Mindfulness courses are delivered by experienced professional in their field. They offer support through Mindfulness to those working in front line services such as health care workers, teachers, youth workers, medical professionals, mental health professionals and counselling therapists. The aim of these courses is to bring the value of selfcare into one’s own day and the necessity of its value in long term balance and wellbeing of our physical and mental health.  Courses run in an 8 week course with dates throughout the year.

They offer support through Mindfulness to introduce and cultivate the importance of selfcare in our day allowing us to build resilience in our approach to stresses and anxiety faced as we lead our busy lives as parents, partners, co-workers and human beings. Courses usually are weekly sessions for up to 8 weeks.

Mindful Restorative Yoga Retreat

The aim of this mindful restorative retreat is to offer participant a means to pause and nature them self through calming breath work and gentle stretches. The mindful incorporation of gentle exercise and breathing brings us into a present state in a relaxed and nurturing manner offering a state of calm and overall wellbeing. Taking a regular pause to work on our mind-body connection will allow us maintain wellbeing and balance as we juggle our everyday lives. It’s vital to insure we are operating at an optimised physical, emotional and mental state and boost our ability to avoid becoming run down overall which may trigger ill health, restlessness and chaos.

The Mindfulness corner @OneHourForMe hosts monthly pop up restorative Yoga retreats every 3rd Friday evening from 7pm to 8h30pm. Places are limited and pre-booking and payment are required to insure your place is secured.
